A well-known business that operate in the Music Industry, are looking to hire an experienced Content and Social Media Manager with a strong Digital Marketing background and a passion for all things Music.
For this Maternity cover contract, we are looking for a professional who has the skills and experience to lead the delivery of their online content strategy that delivers key content, messages and information to the subscribing public, businesses and key stakeholders across the business to strengthen relationships, inform on business movements, acquire new subscribers and raise the profile of the business.
You are an excellent communicator, who has a strong level of gravitas and credibility with the ability to gain trust and liaise with the company’s leadership team. You’ll be required to work as part of a collaborative team and other key departments of the business like Marketing, Communication and IT, becoming the Digital ambassador for the business, delivering opinion and insight on all things Digital and training others as required.
This role has no direct reports, but there is a strong project management feel to the role, as well as having exposure to the senior management and leaderships team. You will develop Content and Social Media campaigns, delivering high quality digital and design based content. This role takes responsibility for content creation, including graphic design, audio and video content, using third party agencies for larger projects and coordinating those projects. As such, the role requires expertise in graphic design, content management and social media campaigns. You have an excellent understanding of what it takes to deliver content and campaigns aligned with brand guidelines and a company’s tone of voice.
We are looking for a degree educated or professionally accredited Social Media professional, with years of experience in a similar role. You have experience of creating and managing a wide range digital content, significant experience with Adobe Creative Suite and experience of managing day-to-day website delivery and other digital platforms, as well as data analytics to help make informed decisions and track performance of campaigns. For imagery, experience in Imaging manipulation programmes such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or Premiere Pro and a good knowledge of how digital channels can be integrated to deliver multichannel integrated campaigns are required. Overall you are a great communicator with a passion for the Music Industry and a strong, proven background in delivering successful content and campaigns both B2C and B2B. An excellent opportunity to work in a growing department, initially for a period of 12 months, with the possibility to extend longer term.
