This is a newly created role within a highly entrepreneurial digital media group to assist with a number of acquisitions and business growth/rollout internationally.

Reporting into, and supporting, the CFO this position has been created following the acquisition of a new business that will now be replicated on an international scale, creating new businesses along the way and then analysing for sustainability and growth. To facilitate the continued expansion on both an organic and acquisitions basis there is a need to go to the city to raise cash to build up its investment fund.

This role will consist of the following:

• Assist with preparation for gaining capital/funding from banks and investors;
• Prepare presentations for funding and stakeholder requirements;
• Due diligence of potential acquisitions;
• New business venture analysis, stress testing etc
• Roll out of new business ventures or existing into new territories;
• Market & scenario based analysis;
• Extensive Modelling.

To be suitable for the role you will have the following skills/background:

• Ideally fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or MBA;
• Experience gained within Corporate finance, M&A, Venture Capitalist/Private Equity or Management Consultancy;
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills;
• Experience of raising funding/capital would be a distinct advantage;
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
• Ability to negotiate, influence and drive/implement change;
• Ability to work within a highly entrepreneurial/high growth environment.
