A well-known name in the music industry is searching for a Digital Account Manager to join them in their London office, and become an integral part of the Marketing and Digital team. The company represent some of the most established acts in music, as well as some of its brightest stars, and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading digital sales and streaming strategies for the UK label roster. They will build upon an existing network of relationships across digital platforms, and be proactive in cultivating new strategic partnerships with the aim of growing each accounts business, maximising revenue, and maximising exposure for all artist and talent. A huge part of this role will involve building relationships with local DSP teams in major European markets, but equally, here in the UK , and you will also conceive and deliver campaign pitches to these DSPs. Strong pre-existing relationships with contacts at Spotify in particular are required.
Additionally, the Digital Account Manager will project manage long term streaming strategies for the labels roster of breaking and established artists. You will put together fan-focused campaigns tied to subscription platforms.
A background in the music industry with 3-5 years’ experience at a major or established indie label is expected, as is a network of contacts within DSP’s, in particular, Spotify. You should have exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, with strong presentational abilities to convey information and results clearly. This role will expose you to a lot of different areas, and as such, you should be able to work effectively under pressure, balance priorities, and wear various different hats. You must have the ability to take bold campaign ideas and translate them into partner specific initiatives that drive sales, so a proven record of sales and revenue growth is expected. Prior experience in account or client Management is important, as is the ability to understand operations, delivery and technology issues. Most importantly, you should have a burning passion and commitment for all things music and artists.
