A Global Independent Music and Entertainment company is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager for its Independent Record Label based in their London Headquarters. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this will be a very broad and rewarding role in the business.
Working with the Global Marketing teams to ensure global consistency with campaigns, you will be responsible for developing robust and innovative marketing plans to drive fan engagement across all online platforms. Devising the overall digital creative vision for developing and emerging artists, as part of the core team responsible for the overall artist branding and artist development. The Digital Marketing Manager will manage strategic partnerships with third parties including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Google etc and manage the relationships with third party digital and Media busying agencies and promotional partners to deliver content and campaigns.
This role will lead and coordinate social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising and CRM campaigns for the assigned artists. You will provide ideas and strategy for online contesting and sweepstakes, communicating with artist management and artists on a regular basis to convey digital strategies and present opportunities. It’s important that campaigns are implemented that are focused on data collection, analysing data and monitoring analytics on streaming platforms to communicate to senior management. Also maintaining and nurturing an existing newsletter, working with the wider business to maximise retail opportunities and support retail initiatives.
Given your experience in a similar role, you have the ability to spot and harness new digital trends, understand and promote new technologies and social media behaviour and align this with the businesses objectives to create new innovative marketing strategies and solutions.
You are an experienced Digital Marketing professional with at least three years of experience with progressive digital marketing at a record label, music business, artist management or other related media business. You have superb written and oral communication skills, a thorough understanding of the Music marketplace and a comprehensive knowledge of the music streaming landscape. You have a strong interest in lifestyle verticals and urban culture and are ‘obsessed’ with social media, with the ability to demonstrate professional experience with social platforms. A team player, that is not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to help out and cover for others in times of need. You must be experienced at acting as a liaison between the artists / artist management and label, exercising tact, persuasion and trust. You have excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle and deliver projects on time and within budgets, experienced with a variety of digital marketing tools and concepts and up to date on new technology, a bachelor’s degree would be preferred.
