A highly regarded Record label, part of a Major Group are looking to hire an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, who has held similar positions within a Record Label Environment. Working for the Digital Department, reporting to the Head of Digital you will be responsible for the creation and strategic management of multiple digitally focused Marketing campaigns.
Coming from the Music and the Digital world, you will fully understand the latest innovations and consumer trends in the Music streaming market and Digital Media. The Digital Marketing Manager will develop and manage cross functional relationships across the business and also externally with 3rd parties across various channels. This role will also develop strategic partnerships with 3rd party sites in order to secure high value profile for the roster of artists and content including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Shazam, Snap, Tumblr, Vevo, Youtube and new platforms as they arise, integrating new digital deals and partnerships in to everyday marketing and promotional planning and negotiating added media value around exclusive content, delivering cross media opportunities.
This role will over time grow a team and manage others, although to start with on day one will be a new role with no direct reports. You are an experienced Digital Marketing Manager, with special awareness and knowledge of the Music streaming market. A strategic marketing manager with the ability to create campaigns, manage 3rd party relationships and motivate others whilst managing and developing a team and new or existing relationships. You have a clear understanding of consumer behaviours in and out of the digital space, with fresh ideas on how to address those needs and positively engage and drive the brand and its content / roster. You can demonstrate proven ability to integrate new digital deals / partnerships and act as an advocate for the company and its brands. As this role is hands on, you are required to have a detailed understanding and skills in HTML and Photoshop and the ability to create assets, business savvy with a strong creative background and network and the ability to brief third party developers on projects. This role will require occasional travel to Europe and that you attend various Gigs in London on a regular basis.
