Working for a key player within the Film & Television industry this  is a highly commercial role that will model all financial aspects of the business to allow for key business decisions to be made, facilitating business growth and change.

 

The company is an award winning multinational business that covers an array of business areas including VFX, Film & Television and through their expertise has been experiencing a healthy growth period. This role requires someone to help ensure that this is sustained and revenues are optimised whilst ensuring that the quality of output and services are not compromised.

 

To be considered for the role you will be a commercially focused accountant who has a proven background in building and adapting complex business models. You will be well rehearsed with using complex models to analyse stress, risks, opportunities and revenue. You will be able to utilise these models to look at future as well as historical data and presenting these in reports to be used by the senior management team and the board.

 

The Role:

  • Design, build, maintain and constantly update complex business models in Excel which depicts the financials of the business going forward, whilst reflecting historical performance;
  • Stress modelling, assessment of risks & opportunities, deep dives on revenues drivers;
  • Update model for monthly actuals, analysing against budget and forecasts;
  • Integrate the model to cover a variety of business disciplines across an international landscape and adjust accordingly;
  • Prepare reports detailing the results, plus consolidated figures;
  • Flex the model to include new business areas and locations;
  • Provide assumptions on different drivers so different scenarios can be considered by management;

 

The Person:

  • Ideally part qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent);
  • Proven modelling experience with the ability to demonstrate previous models built and developed by yourself;
  • Experience of working in a multinational organisation dealing with multiple business lines;
  • Experience ideally gained with a Media company;
  • Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills;
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential;
  • Pro-active, energetic and a self-starter, continued delivery to deadlines
  • Ability to business partner and advise non financial staff;
