A leading Artist Management and TV Production Company, require a Head of Marketing and Digital to lead a team with 8 direct reports on a permanent basis. With offices in the UK and the USA, the successful candidate will be responsible for all of the businesses marketing & digital services in the UK, and they will work alongside the Creative Director on creative design and strategy. The role is varied, and embodies Marketing, Digital, Financial, Legal and Admin duties.
So what is the ideal candidate looking like?
A passion for entertainment and comedy is a must, and you will be somebody who has experience working across the digital and marketing spectrum within an entertainment brand – this could be a TV company, a production company, Broadcaster, a Record Label, etc.
In this role, you will do everything from managing the social channels of the client’s acts, to leading the digital video strategy. You will also become the main point of contact for future digital opportunities including potential for apps, new forms of broadcasting and new social platforms.
You should have strong project management skills, and be comfortable working on marketing campaigns for both Live projects – such as national tours featuring comics from their roster – and TV projects. With this in mind, commercial experience in selling “units”, or products, such as tickets, records or DVD’s, is required.
The successful candidate will also have proven experience in harnessing long term relationships – for example, an element of the role is working alongside the Marketing & Brand Manager in the development of long term relationships with major ticket agents, as well as supplier relationships.
