A Major Record Label are looking to hire a Junior Content Commissioner, to work alongside their Head of Content for their in house creative division. The role will commission, culturally relevant and innovative content for a diverse roster of artists and commercial channels in the label. Working closely with Artists and Managers to help realise the content for campaigns, commissioning diverse world class short and long form content.
This will include music videos, live sessions, social media clips, tour and documentary formats and more. Working with the marketing managers, the Junior Content Commissioner ensures the content strategy for the campaigns aligns with the individual artists creative direction, helping to drive brand partnerships with the internal brand agency. Working closely with other internal departments such as Finance and Business Affairs to make sure all work is documented correctly and fits within assigned budget.
Overall this is a broad role that will suit somebody with similar experience, who has a strong network of creative talent to call upon, across production houses, agencies, brands and social channels. You have proven experience of commissioning both short and long form content in Music / Entertainment and is passionate about storytelling through visual content. You’re a multi-tasker, with experience of producing content that is faithful to an artist or a projects vision. You are excited about finding new and exciting ways to elevate artists, campaigns and colleagues through the work that you can deliver. Above this is a role for a creative individual who can demonstrate the ability to retain, attract and grow and audience through content, with a solid knowledge of the platforms and channels needed to do so.
