Our client is a leading international Audio technology platform. They have been continually outperforming their targets and now need to add a Director of Business Development to their brand sales team, with a heavy focus on agencies, as a critical part of the business in helping them achieve their ambitus but highly achievable growth plans.
- Drive revenue growth and achieve quarterly sales quotas
- Bring on board the biggest and best brands and their agencies
- Cultivate an agency sales strategy
- Foster, qualify and manage your own pipeline through a combination of prospecting, marketing and strategic targeting with their SDR team
- Develop existing client relationships
- Campaign the SaaS platform and vision for prospective clients through product demonstrations, trade shows, market events and special initiatives
- BS/BA degree required
- 4+ years of sales experience in the technology or agency sales field
- Knowledge of the audio industry
- Sales experience at an audio company such as Spotify, iHeart, Wondery, SiriusXM, Pandora is a plus.
- Proven track record of outperforming targeted quotas selling to C-level executives at brands and agencies
- Passionate, proficient and hands-on
- Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, lean start-up and continuously evolving situation
- Cooperative team player who can also work with minimal direction
- Robust business acumen and ability to respond positively and strategically to challenges or objections
- Exceptional understanding of the agency buying process
- Outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ambition to furthering a career in enterprise sales
- Coachable, able to implement feedback and committed to continuous self-improvement
- Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a challenging environment that requires fresh thinking and innovation
